Doped Up Levan Davis, 21, shot & critically wounded by Bolingbrook Police

A Bolingbrook man was in critical condition after he was shot Wednesday morning while allegedly attacking a village police officer, authorities said this afternoon.

Levan Davis, 21, was shot twice by an officer who was responding to a domestic incident at a residence on the 300 block of Walnut Circle at about 9:15 a.m., according to Lt. Michael Rompa.

Police had received a call about a domestic battery involving a father and son, Rompa said. The father, who police did not identify, called 911 and said his son was violent and had just tried to attack him, Rompa said.
