The 24th annual Muslim Convention will be held Friday through Sunday at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.

The convention is open to the public and will include events such as a fashion show, financial planning workshops, children’s activities, a business expo and business and entrepreneur seminars for young adults. The New Africa Marketplace will showcase a variety of product vendors.

Doors will open a 7 a.m. each day, with activities lasting until at least 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 8 p.m. Sunday.

The convention is being presented by The Mosque Cares in East Hazel Crest and the ministry of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

Individual tickets are $50. Family passes — covering two adults and two children — are $75. Some events during the three-day convention require the purchase of separate tickets.
