Chicago Overnight Black Violence - 2 dead, 8 shot & wounded in overnight shootings

Two men were killed and another eight people wounded in shootings all over the city Friday night and Saturday morning.

One of the dead men, 21, was shot just east of the intersection of 79th Streets and Yates Boulevard in the South Chicago neighborhood. He was shot "multiple times" about 4 a.m., police said. He died at the scene. 

The other, an 18-year-old man, was shot in the 6800 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue in the Park Manor neighborhood about 8:15 p.m. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition but later died of his wounds.
